Dr. Neta Shlezinger, Ph.D.
Neta grew up in a small mountainous desert town in southern Israel with a breathtaking view of the dead sea and Mountains of Jordan. She completed her PhD at Tel Aviv University with Prof. Amir Sharon. Neta joined the Hohl lab for her postdoctoral training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Research Center in NY. On top of her obsession with fungi, Neta is also a true cinephile and musicphile so in her spare time she likes playing the flute, drums and making documentaries on her feline overlords. Her secret guilty pleasure is watching horror B movies.
